Nobody advances alone

A tutor anchored in your course, a cohort connected between sessions, a marker who signs their feedback, a named lead for your adjustments: 26 support arrangements carry your programme, from day one to the award.

Six families of support, and what they cover

Studying remotely means having more support than a timetable reveals. IHETC publishes 26 of them, in six families: supervision of the work, collective time, the programme's key moments, the passage into the trade, access for everyone everywhere, and the relationship with the institute. Each page states what exists, how to reach it, when, and what you get from it.

Response commitments, gathered

A published timeframe binds whoever publishes it: that is what separates a commitment from an intention. These five lines apply to every catalogue format, from long programmes to short courses.

The questions that come up most

Are all these arrangements covered by the fees?

Supervision, marking, the tutor, assessments and the scheduled resit attempts are covered by the programme fees, in every format. Travel and accommodation for an in-person gathering, your connection and your equipment are paid directly by you, and the start-of-year announcement leaves time to arrange them.

Does support differ by format?

Supervision, marking and the tutor are the same for a long programme and for a short certification. What varies is the duration, the expected workload and the award at the end — all three stated on the programme page before enrolment.

Who do I write to, depending on the request?

The tutor for content, reachable from the lesson at any hour. Technical support for access or submissions. The academic office for an adjustment, a pause, a review or a fees question. Your representatives when the request concerns the whole cohort, which earns it an answer published to everyone.

Do these arrangements apply from abroad?

Yes, and the design assumes it: downloadable lessons, deferred sending of answers, recorded sessions, a tutor reachable at any hour. An in-person gathering has its remote counterpart, and the technical gesture is performed in a slot opened for people at a distance.
