Public verification
Verify a certificate
No account, no phone call, no permission to ask us for. It is the counterpart of everything else we claim on this site.
What verification shows
Strictly what is needed to judge, and nothing more. That restraint is the counterpart of openness: public verification is only acceptable if it does not expose the person's academic life.
Shown
- The exact course title and its date
- The validated skills, listed one by one
- The status: valid, expired or revoked
- The institution that issued it
Never shown
- Marks and scores obtained
- The number of attempts
- Other courses the person has taken
- Their exchanges with the tutor
A recruiter's questions
Do I need an account to verify?
No, and that is deliberate. A certificate you can only check by signing up is not checked: it is ignored. A recruiter receiving two hundred applications will not open two hundred sign-up forms.
What does a « revoked » certificate mean?
That cheating in the assessment was established after issue. It is the only ground for revocation. The status appears publicly, because a revoked certificate still reading « valid » would turn the whole verification into theatre.
Does the certificate correspond to a state qualification?
No. It is a professional certificate issued by the institution. Its worth rests on its content and on the fact that you can check it yourself — the exact state of our regulatory applications is published on a dedicated page, without arrangement.
The link does not work. What now?
Write to us with the title and date shown on the document. We reply within two working days. A link that leads nowhere is information in itself: we would rather you told us than concluded it was a forgery without asking.
