The institute

Status and accreditation

IHETC is a private higher education institution, authorised by order of the ministry responsible for higher education and approved as a vocational training centre.

Authorisations

Two separate frameworks, two ministries. The institution operates under both: that is what allows it to award qualifications as well as short professional certifications.

Establishment creation order

Ministry responsible for higher education. It authorises the opening of the institution and the award of the qualifications attached to approved programmes.

Training centre approval

Ministry responsible for vocational training. It covers professional certifications and short courses for working people and organisations.

What the institution awards

  • The qualification attached to the programme completed, for long-form study
  • A professional certification for short and executive formats
  • A descriptive supplement detailing validated skills, unit by unit
  • A public verification link an employer opens with no account and no phone call

Check for yourself

A status is checked, not declared. Every award carries an identifier and a public verification address: an employer sees the title, the date and the validated skills for themselves, without going through us.

How does an employer verify an IHETC award?

Through the verification address printed on the document. It is public and requires no account or sign-up: a design condition from the outset, because an award you can only check by creating an account is not checked — it is ignored.

Are the programmes recognised outside Guinea?

Recognition abroad rests with the authorities of the country concerned and is assessed case by case, as for any institution. The descriptive supplement attached to each award is designed for that use: it details study hours, validated skills and the standard applied — what an equivalence office asks for first.

Does support differ by format?

Supervision, marking and the tutor are the same for a long programme and for a short certification. What differs is duration, expected workload and the award at the end — all three stated on the course page before enrolment.
