Support
The first week, guided step by step
Access opened, workspace mastered, first module started, first exchange with the tutor: the opening week follows a precise programme. By the end of it, you know where everything is and who to write to.
The first seven days
- 01
Day 1 — Access opens
The learning space opens as soon as enrolment is confirmed, without waiting for term start. You browse the full programme map.
- 02
Day 2 — Getting to grips
Submitting a file, downloading a lesson, opening the tutor, finding the calendar. Four moves, half an hour.
- 03
Day 3 — First module
The first sequence, with its guided exercise. The first stage is cleared within the week, not after a month.
- 04
Day 5 — First exchange
One question to the tutor, one introduction in the cohort thread. Both supports are open from this week.
- 05
Day 7 — Your standard week
You place your working slots in the calendar, based on the volume announced for your pace.
What is open as soon as enrolment is confirmed
Everything you need to start is available at once. That is a design choice: a confirmed enrolment that opens onto a waiting room loses exactly the people who were ready to work.
- The full programme map, module by module
- The year's academic calendar, assessment dates included
- The tutor, anchored in the first module
- Your cohort forum and the first module's thread
- Downloadable content for working offline
The effort reference for the first weeks
The volume announced is actual work: reading, exercises, submissions. It is published before enrolment and repeated during the welcome week, because it is the figure a workable routine is built on.
- of actual work per week
- 15–20 h
- of work per credit
- 25 h
- taught per credit
- 10 h

What you will be able to do by the end of the week
- Locate yourself in the programme map, at any time
- Submit a piece of work and find its timestamped receipt
- Open the tutor from any lesson
- Take a lesson offline and resume it without a network
- Identify who to write to, depending on the nature of the request
First-days questions
Do I wait for term start to begin?
Access opens as soon as enrolment is confirmed. You browse the map, get to grips with the space and start the first module at your own pace; the year's firm dates remain the assessments, published in the calendar.
Is a phone enough for the first week?
Yes, and for reading, tracking and most submissions afterwards. Some technical programmes require a computer from the second year: that is stated on the relevant programme page, before you commit.
Who do I write to, depending on the question?
The tutor for anything about content, technical support for access or submissions, the academic office for an adjustment, a pause or a review. All three addresses are in your space from day one.
