Resuming exactly where you left off
A pause is requested, granted and then resumed. Your validated results stay valid: you restart from the next module, at the nearest opening session, with an updated plan and a tutor already up to speed on where you stopped.
What stays yours during the pause
An interruption leaves untouched the evidence of what you have already done. That is the condition for a pause to remain a pause: what is validated is validated, and the programme framework is not replayed.
- Validated credits, with their date and taught volume
- The marking feedback received, kept in your space
- Your progress tracking, concept by concept
- The last written review issued, which gives the restart point
The four stages of a resumption
- 01
You request the pause
In writing, with the reason. The request is handled within the published timeframes, and the answer is written in every case.
- 02
Your state is frozen
Credits, feedback, progress: a dated statement is filed in your space on the day of suspension.
- 03
You announce your return
One message is enough. Resumption is set at the nearest opening session of the module where you stopped.
- 04
An updated plan
Deadlines are recomputed through to the final assessment, on the pace you now have available.
What resumption reopens
The tutor, already up to speed
It starts from your statement: consolidated concepts are secure, those flagged fragile are revisited first.
A running cohort
You join the one reaching the module where you restart. Its forum, sessions and group work are open to you.
An up-to-date calendar
The new year's firm dates are published, letting you replan your slots from day one.
The stated timeframes
A pause request follows the same commitments as any written request. The only timing that is yours is the return: you resume when you are ready, at the next opening session.
- for acknowledgement
- 2 jours ouvrés
- for the written answer
- 10 jours ouvrés
- credits to retake
- 0
What is validated stays validated, with its date and volume.
Questions about resuming
How long can a pause last?
It is requested for the length you need, and the written answer sets its term with you. Resumption is then aligned to the nearest opening session of the module concerned, which gives you a precise date to aim for.
What about fees during the pause?
Instalments falling after the suspension stop being due, and the payment plan resumes at restart for the period actually attended. This is published on the fees page, before any enrolment.
Will the framework have changed by the time I return?
A course is frozen for the duration of its session, and the programme framework is the one in the filed catalogue. If a later session carries an updated version of a module, the restart statement sets out what has changed and what remains acquired.
Can I resume on a different pace?
Yes, and it is the most frequent reason for resuming. The updated plan recomputes deadlines on the time you now have; the programme's total volume stays the one in the official catalogue.
