Identifying, rating and treating an activity's risks
A risk that is identified, rated and assigned to someone becomes a decision; left implicit, it becomes a surprise. This skill installs the method shared by projects, industry and information systems: register, rating, treatment, review.
One method that holds everywhere
Whether the risk is a late delivery, a fall from height or a compromised server, the method is the same: describe it precisely, estimate its severity and likelihood, decide to reduce, transfer or accept it, appoint an owner and set a review date. That unity of method is why the blocks listed here come from three different fields. The programme teaches it with the tools that keep the register alive rather than documentary.
