Study pattern: the space a programme takes in your week

The study pattern says how a programme fits into a week: full time, compatible with a job, or self-paced. Every page states it along with its load in hours of actual work. That figure is what decides whether the programme fits into your week.

Three ways to run a programme

A programme's study pattern describes how it occupies the week. Full time concentrates the effort and shortens the duration. The job-compatible pattern places sessions outside peak hours and spreads the course out. The self-paced pattern lets the student set their own cadence, with assessment milestones on announced dates. Every page publishes the matching load in hours of actual work.

  • The weekly load is published in hours of actual work
  • The pattern chosen determines the total length of the course

The real load, programme by programme

The Business Intelligence and Steering programme runs alongside a job, with evening sessions and weekend deliverables. The Digital Marketing Essentials course fits a self-paced pattern over two months. Comparing the two amounts to comparing two weekly loads, both published.
