Skills
Organising transport and the logistics chain
Choosing a transport mode, building a route, sizing a stock, holding a lead time: logistics decides a product's availability and a good share of its cost. It is a field skill, backed by figures.
The product in the right place at the right time
A stock-out costs a sale; excess stock costs cash. Logistics constantly arbitrates between those two costs, with parameters set by the terrain: corridor condition, rainy season, port capacity, clearance times. The programme teaches the methods that make that arbitration explicit — reorder levels, the full cost of a route, the transport plan — and tests them on real flows across the sub-region.
- Compare the full cost of several routes and transport modes
- Build a transport plan and track the lead times actually met
- Size a stock through reorder levels and turnover
- Organise a warehouse, its addressing and its cycle counting
Where it is trained
Each row is a block from the official catalogue. The taught volume and the year of study are those of the filed programme, reproduced as they stand.
| Teaching block | Programme | Taught hours | Year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transport and logistics | International Trade | 220 h | Year 2 |
| Customs and regulation | International Trade | 200 h | Year 2 |
| Simulation, project and placement | International Trade | 100 h | Years 1 to 2 |
Your level of command, stated plainly
You run the operation of a complete logistics flow single-handed, from supplier to delivery point, with its indicators. A skill is best stated by what it lets you carry out on your own, on completion.

Three questions, three answers
Does this skill apply in industry?
It applies there daily: spare parts supply, technical stores, inter-site flows. The industrial storekeeper qualification is built on exactly that.
Are the land corridors studied?
Yes, with their real characteristics: seasonality, checkpoints, platform capacity and how they connect to sea freight.
Is a management system taught?
Stock management principles are taught with their tooled implementation: coding, movements, cycle counting and turnover indicators.
