Deep learning and language models
Neural networks handle image, sound and text where classical methods stop. Language models add the ability to reason over documents. IHETC teaches both together with their real implementation: training, tuning and document grounding.
From neural network to useful service
A language model becomes useful to a company the day it answers from that company's own documents, with the source attached. That is the principle of document-grounded generation: index the corpus, retrieve the relevant passages, hold the model to them and display the reference. The programme teaches this full chain, from network architecture to fine-tuning a model on a business domain, holding performance, compute cost and data sovereignty together.
