A container carries the application and everything it needs; the orchestrator manages its replicas, upgrades and recovery; infrastructure described as code makes the whole thing reproducible. Three tools, one idea: making deployment predictable.

The costliest question in operations is the server nobody dares rebuild, because its configuration accumulated over years in small unwritten touches. The answer is a discipline: everything the infrastructure is made of is described in a versioned file, and the machine is recreated with one command. What level do I need to approach orchestration?
Systems administration and networking are assumed: both are taught in year one of the networks and cloud programme, with orchestration arriving in year two.
Does the teaching depend on one specific cloud provider?
Architecture principles are taught independently of any provider, then implemented on a concrete environment. That is what makes the skill portable from one contract to the next.
Is this skill useful for artificial intelligence projects?
