Switching path along the way

Switching path is handled like a fresh orientation, with your gains in hand: validated modules that appear in the new programme stay acquired. Here is the procedure, and how to measure what carries over.

What carries over in a switch

A validated module is validated for good: where it appears in the destination syllabus, it stays acquired and is not redone. That is what makes a change of direction economical rather than costly, and it is also what allows an early decision: the closer the switch is to the start, the larger the share carried over relative to what remains.

  • Validated modules common to both programmes
  • Acquired credits, with their supervised hours
  • Marking feedback received, useful in the new path
  • Your file reference and your history

The switching procedure

  1. 01

Compare both syllabuses module by module

The pages share the same structure: the overlap reads directly, module by module, with credits.

  2. 02

    Write the reasoned request

The target programme, the reason, the desired date. A written request is processed within the published turnarounds.

  3. 03

    Take the reorientation interview

It covers the new project, like an admission interview, and sets the pace against your current week.

  4. 04

Receive the statement of carried-over credits

Written, module by module, with credits and hours. It is the document that quantifies your new path.

  5. 05

    Adjust the payment schedule

The new dated schedule reflects the remaining duration. It is issued to you before the switch takes effect.

Reorientation questions

When in the year is a switch simplest?

Between two semesters, because the statement of credits is then clean and the schedule recalculates over a whole period. A mid-semester switch remains possible: validated modules carry over in the same way.

Do I need to file a new application?

The request attaches to your existing file: your documents remain valid and the interview covers the new project. That is what makes the procedure shorter than a first application.

Are fees already paid taken into account?

The new dated schedule reflects the remaining duration and is issued before the switch. Amounts for a period not attended are not payable, in line with the fee terms.
