Hot work permits, energy lockout, prevention plans, safety inductions: these arrangements govern a site's most exposed interventions. Mastering them means authorising work while knowing exactly what makes it safe.
Authorising work in full knowledge
Signing a work permit commits the person who signs it. That act therefore assumes a full chain under control: identifying the energy to be locked out, checking the absence of voltage or pressure, marking out the zone, ensuring external contractors have had their safety induction, and coordinating co-activity. The programme teaches that chain with the situations that test it — layered subcontracting, night work, planned shutdown — and with the safety culture that holds it together.
