Diagnosing, repairing and improving industrial equipment reliability

Mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, vibration analysis, preventive planning and energy auditing: industrial maintenance keeps equipment available and energy under control. It is the trade that decides a plant's availability rate.

Anticipating failure rather than enduring it

An unplanned shutdown costs several times the price of the part replaced. All modern maintenance therefore works to move the intervention ahead of the failure: vibration measurement, thermography, oil analysis, running-hours tracking. That shift requires two kinds of knowledge at once — equipment technology, and the organisation that gets preventive work actually done. The programme builds both, from bearings to variable speed drives, and through to the site's energy audit.

  • Diagnose a mechanical or electrical failure through measurement
  • Run condition-based maintenance using vibration analysis
  • Build a preventive plan and maintain it in a management system
  • Produce an energy audit and propose quantified savings

The scale of the learning

You organise maintenance for a fleet of equipment and steer its availability through tracked indicators. Four figures are enough to place a skill: blocks, hours, credits and certified outlets.
