React and mobile application development
React organises an interface into components; React Native takes those same components onto phones. One way of thinking therefore serves both web and mobile, in a West African market where the phone is every user's first screen.
Thinking in components
A component is a promise: the same data always produces the same interface. That discipline changes how a screen is built — you assemble verifiable pieces instead of stacking instructions. It also changes maintenance: a fix made in one component propagates to every place it appears. The teaching carries that reasoning through to mobile, where network constraints and battery life force trade-offs the web often sets aside.

How far you go
You design and release a complete web and mobile application, connected to a real service and monitored in production. The ambition of a skill is measured by the act it authorises, then by the volume behind it.

Do you learn to publish on the app stores?
Yes: deployment covers release preparation, signing, publication and the tracking of usage feedback once the app is out.
Do I need a powerful computer for this block?
A standard laptop with a stable connection is enough. Heavier work runs in a shared execution environment provided by the institute.
Will React still be relevant in five years?
What lasts is reasoning in components and state, shared by all the major current frameworks. The programme teaches it as a principle, illustrated with today's tooling.
