Supervising safety daily or answering for the whole site

Two titles from the official catalogue frame industrial safety, one step apart. One holds the ground day after day, the other commits leadership to a complete system. Here are their levels, hours and competency blocks, side by side.

One step apart, two mandates

The supervisor holds safety where the work happens: permits, lockout, toolbox talks, site checks, event reporting, supporting teams. The site manager holds the system that makes this possible: policy, major risk analysis, prevention plans, audits, indicators, relations with the authority and arbitration before leadership. The first secures a safe practice, the second a safe organisation.
