Carrying a digital project or coordinating projects

Two titles from the official catalogue share project leadership, one step apart and across two perimeters. One carries an information system project and its technical trade-offs, the other coordinates actors, schedule and the flow of information. Here are both frameworks.

Two perimeters of leadership

The digital project manager carries the content as much as the calendar: they arbitrate between technical solutions, commit a budget, deal with vendors and answer for the service delivered at the end. The project coordinator carries the collective mechanics: consolidated schedule, milestones, information flow, minutes, alerts and action tracking. One decides and commits, the other synchronises and secures everyone's progress.

The marker that decides

What you want to answer for

The technical result and the budget committed, or the synchronisation of many actors and the reliability of shared information.

Your current foothold

An installed technical base points to the project manager title; a practice of organisation and follow-up points to coordination.

The step you target

The level carried by each title is in the table: it states exactly the responsibility the framework assigns to its holder.

What we are asked most

Is a technical profile required for these titles?

The blocks above give the exact content of each, and the level in the table sets the expected entry.

Do these titles overlap a project management certificate?

They target a named occupation and are prepared over a longer period; the certificate equips a function in a post already held.

Can you move from coordinator to project manager?

Yes, and the catalogue describes that progression by levels. Shared blocks are recognised at admission to the second title.
