Composing your certification, unit by unit

A path can equally be built backwards: you start with the unit that is useful this quarter, and the whole closes on a qualification. The catalogue makes that assembly possible across 541 separately validated units.

Why starting in the middle works

A path followed from one block to the next in catalogue order is a student's path. A professional in post has a project this quarter: they gain by starting with the unit that serves it, drawing a visible result from it, then completing. Unit splitting and credit capitalisation make that assembly as solid as the classic order, and both lead to the same qualification.

  • A unit useful immediately, chosen from the project under way
  • A personal attestation from the first validation onwards
  • Recorded credits that make the rest shorter
  • A recommended order, issued at admission, where one unit assumes another
  • A full qualification at the end, without retaking what is acquired

The assembly, in four decisions

  1. 01

    Name the project

What you have to deliver within three months. That designates the first unit, not the catalogue.

  2. 02

    Check the recommended order

Admission states which units assume another one, and which can be taken on their own.

  3. 03

    Validate and capitalise

Each validated unit posts its attestation and its credits to the register, in your name and at its date.

  4. 04

    Close on the qualification

The remaining balance is computed on the credits earned, and the qualification is awarded on the last unit.

Questions about assembly

Who decides the order of the units?

You do, from the recommended order issued at admission. That document states which units assume another and which stand alone: the decision stays yours, informed.

Does the price follow the assembly?

Fees are shown unit by unit and path by path on the catalogue pages, in Guinean francs. An assembly can therefore be costed before you commit, by adding the lines you keep.

Can the plan change along the way?

Credits earned stay earned and carry over into the new path as far as the two frameworks overlap. Admission recomputes the balance and issues a dated path.
