Course unit: the grain of a programme
A course unit gathers sessions, a volume of hours and a number of credits around a single objective. It is the grain at which a programme is read, compared and validated. Every unit states its teaching year, its hours and its credits.
One unit, one objective, one validation
A course unit is the coherent whole that carries one learning objective through to its validation. It states four things: its content, its teaching year, its taught hours and its credits. The catalogue publishes 181 of them across 30 programmes. It is the accounting unit of a programme, and the decision unit of anyone comparing two offers.

How a unit appears on a programme page
On the Business Management programme page, each unit takes one line: title, content, year, hours, credits. So you know, before committing, what you will work on in the second year and how long it will take. Cross-cutting units carry a range of years, because they run across the whole programme.

Three programmes read unit by unit
