Keeping accounts under the OHADA framework

The OHADA framework applies across seventeen African countries. Mastering it means being able to keep, close and present a company's accounts from Conakry to Abidjan, with the same chart of accounts and the same financial statements.

One entry, seventeen countries

Accounting is the language in which a company accounts for itself to its bank, its shareholders and the tax authority. The OHADA framework sets that grammar for the whole sub-region: one chart of accounts, one set of measurement rules, one set of financial statements. That harmonisation has a direct consequence for you: the skill acquired in Conakry works in Dakar, Bamako and Abidjan with no relearning. The programme takes it from everyday entries through to group consolidation.

  • Record day-to-day transactions under the OHADA chart of accounts
  • Carry out year-end work and close a financial year
  • Produce the balance sheet, income statement and notes
  • Consolidate the accounts of several entities in one group
