Paying for your studies in instalments
Instalments are the rule and are chosen at enrolment: monthly or quarterly, across the academic year. The total paid stays identical to an upfront payment. Here is how to set the schedule up and follow it, month after month.
How instalments work
Instalments are requested at enrolment and apply automatically: there is nothing to negotiate or justify. Payment spreads across the academic year, at the cadence you choose, and the total remains the notified amount. A payment plan that cost more would penalise exactly the people it should help.
- A cadence of your choice: monthly or quarterly
- A written, dated schedule, issued at enrolment
- A total identical to an upfront payment
- A receipt per instalment, kept in your space
Setting up your schedule
- 01
Start from the notified amount
The one in your admission decision. That is the calculation base, and it is firm.
- 02
Choose the cadence
Twelve monthly instalments or four quarterly ones. The choice is made at enrolment.
- 03
Set the payment date
Align it with your income date. An instalment falling just after money comes in is settled effortlessly.
- 04
Receive the written schedule
It lists every instalment, its date and its amount. Keep it: it also serves a sponsorship request.
- 05
Track receipts in your space
Each payment issues a dated receipt. The remaining balance is permanently displayed, with nothing to request.

Questions about instalments
Are instalments requested or granted?
They are chosen. It is the rule applied to everyone, and it appears as an option at enrolment, on the same footing as upfront payment. No file or supporting document is required.
Can I change cadence mid-year?
Yes, on a written request with your reference. A new dated schedule is issued for the remaining instalments, and the total stays the notified amount.
What happens to instalments if I pause the year?
Instalments falling after your departure stop being due, and amounts for the period not attended are not payable. The principle is set out in the fee terms.
Is a schedule enough for a sponsorship request?
It forms its main item: it carries the programme, the dates and the amounts. The employer-funding guide details the other elements expected in a sponsorship file.
