Applying for a scholarship
The scholarship scheme targets situations where cost is the only obstacle. It is awarded on file, by a committee, with a written reason either way. Here is how to build a solid request, and what the committee examines in it.
What the scheme targets
A scholarship is for the applicant whose project holds, whose file is admissible, and for whom the amount is the only sticking point. The request is assessed on documents and results in a reasoned written decision, favourable or not. The number of scholarships opened each year is published: aid whose volume is known is aid you can request with full information.

Five steps to apply

File the application first
A scholarship request builds on an existing file: it attaches to your application reference.

Quantify your situation
Income, outgoings, and the exact gap with the calculated monthly amount. A precise figure is processed faster than an appraisal.

Gather supporting documents
What establishes your situation, scanned and legible. The same scanning method as for the application applies.

Send the request
With your application reference. An acknowledgement reaches you within two working days, with a name.

Receive the reasoned decision
Written either way. It states the amount granted and how it combines with your payment schedule.
What the committee examines
The situation, quantified
The gap between your resources and the calculated monthly amount. A quantified file is handled on evidence, not on impression.
Consistency of the project
The target programme and the professional goal. It is the same material as the admission interview, reread from this angle.
How it fits with instalments
Scholarship and instalments combine. The decision states the remaining amount and the new dated schedule.

Scholarship questions
Do I wait for admission to apply?
The request attaches to a filed application: you can therefore send it as soon as you have your reference. It is examined alongside the admission decision, which gives you both answers at the same time.
Does a scholarship cover all the fees?
The amount granted appears in the decision, with the remaining balance and the matching schedule. Scholarship and instalments combine, which allows the monthly amount to be tuned precisely to your situation.
Is the request renewed each year?
A request covers one academic year and is renewed for the next with updated documents. Renewal builds on the existing file, which makes it faster than the first request.
