Paying in Guinean francs, through the channel you already use
Mobile money, bank card, transfer: all three channels are open for every instalment, and each produces the same receipt in your name. Fees are denominated in Guinean francs, and collected in that currency alone.
Three channels, one amount
The payment channel belongs to the candidate: those who live with a mobile wallet pay by mobile money, those whose employer pays go through a transfer, those who prefer a card use the card. None of these choices alters the amount due or the schedule. What changes from one channel to another is the time it takes to be recorded, and that is published below so nobody has to guess when their payment will appear on their balance.
The three open channels
Mobile money
The country's most widespread channel. The payment carries your file reference and the receipt is issued immediately.
Bank card
Online payment from your personal space, instalment by instalment or for the whole balance, as you prefer.
Bank transfer
The channel for payments by a third party: employer, organisation, relative. The file reference alone directs it.
What each channel produces
| Channel | Recorded | Document issued |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile money | On receipt of payment | Dated receipt in your name |
| Bank card | On payment confirmation | Dated receipt in your name |
| Bank transfer | On arrival in the account | Receipt in your name and paid invoice |
One currency, and it is a choice
Catalogue amounts are denominated in Guinean francs, and the institution collects in that currency alone. Publishing a conversion would mean displaying a rate we do not control and which goes stale at the first exchange movement. A candidate paying from another country therefore has the conversion carried out by their paying institution, at the day's rate, and finds on their receipt the exact amount in Guinean francs: that is the only figure that binds them.
- A single catalogue amount, in Guinean francs
- The same amount on the receipt, whatever channel is used
- Conversion carried out by your paying institution, at the day's rate
- A file reference that directs the payment with no intervention needed
Payment questions
Can a relative pay on my behalf?
Yes, by transfer or mobile money, quoting your file reference. The receipt carries your name as the enrolled student and the payer's name, allowing each side to account for the transaction.
How do I know my payment has arrived?
The balance in your personal space updates once the payment is recorded, and the receipt is sent to you straight after. Those two traces are enough to establish that the instalment is settled.
Can I change channel during the year?
At every instalment if you wish: the channel is chosen payment by payment. The schedule itself remains the one that was signed.
