Two floors of one competency
Computing installs what makes a system intelligible: algorithms, databases, systems, networks, software engineering. Without that layer, a vulnerability stays a word. Cybersecurity takes those foundations and tests them: attack surface mapping, penetration testing, detection, incident response, governance and compliance. The table below gives the level, volume and price of each floor.
