Choosing your training pace

Full time, compatible with a job, self-paced: the catalogue offers three regimes and each commits a different organisation of the week. The right choice is made on your real calendar, not on your ambition.

What each regime commits

Full time concentrates the load into whole days: it suits a return to study you devote the year to. The job-compatible regime places live sessions outside working hours and spreads personal study across evenings and weekends. Self-paced leaves the slots in your hands and keeps submission milestones: it asks for real personal discipline, and it is the only one that absorbs an unpredictable week.

  • Full time: whole days, a calendar shared with the cohort
  • Job-compatible: evening sessions, work produced at weekends
  • Self-paced: your own slots, with submission milestones kept
  • Every regime gives access to the same assessments and the same award
  • The regime is chosen at enrolment and adjusted with the teaching team

How the catalogue breaks down

These three counts come from the programme pages themselves. The dominance of the job-compatible regime reflects the intended audience: working professionals moving up in qualification from the post they hold.

Questions about pace

Can I change pace during the programme?

Yes, between two blocks and after a review with the teaching team. Credits earned stay earned: the change affects the calendar's organisation, never what you have already validated.

Does the award depend on the pace followed?

The standard, the assessments and the award are identical in all three regimes. What varies is the spread over time, and it appears on the transcript accompanying the certificate.

Which regime suits shift work?

Self-paced is designed for it: submission milestones stay fixed while working slots move with your rotations. Live sessions are recorded and can be caught up whenever suits you.
