Application developer

Beyond the screen there is an architecture, a database, tests and a deployment. The application developer designs software meant to last, to evolve and to carry a company's real load.

Designing before writing

The job starts with a conversation: what does the user actually do, in what order, with what data. Then comes design — data model, module split, contracts between components — and only then code. Automated tests accompany every feature, because they are what allows an application to be changed six months later without fear. Deployment follows a tooled pipeline, and the monitoring that follows belongs to the same work.
