Credit accumulation: what you earn, you keep
Credit accumulation is the principle that makes a record cumulative: a validated unit stays validated, its credits are yours, and you pick up later exactly where you left off. A record is built that way over several years, block after block.
The principle, in one sentence
Credit accumulation means a validated course unit is held for good, with its credits and its hours. So you can take one certification this year, a second two years later, and present the whole as a coherent record. The total reads in credits: 180 on the densest programme, four to six on a short course.
- A validated unit is held with its credits and its hours
- A record is built over several years, in successive blocks
- The accumulation is presented as a coherent whole, with documents
A record built in stages
A manager who takes the Digital Transformation certification accumulates its credits, then puts them forward when joining the Business Management programme. Units already validated are recognised, the remaining volume is established at admission, and the calendar is adjusted accordingly.
- 01
1 — You validate a unit
Its credits and taught hours enter your record, with the date and the framework applied.
- 02
2 — You keep the proof
A named document certifies the unit, its skills and its volume. It is presented as is to a third party.
- 03
3 — You resume later
On resuming, admission starts from what you hold and establishes the volume still to cover.
- 04
4 — You present the whole
The total reads in credits and hours: a language shared by employers and recognition offices.
