A decision-oriented Bac+5-level programme: collect, clean, model and above all communicate. The programme values statistical rigour as much as the ability to convince management with imperfect data, a common situation across the continent.

Learning objectives

  • Build a reliable, reproducible data pipeline
  • Apply the right statistical methods and know their limits
  • Design dashboards that answer an actual management question
  • Communicate quantitative findings to a non-technical leadership team

Curriculum

1200 hours · 120 credits

Year 1560 hours

  1. Advanced applied statistics

    240 hours · 24 credits

Estimation, hypothesis tests, multiple regression, time series, design of experiments

  2. Data engineering

    240 hours · 24 credits

Extract-transform-load, data quality, warehouses, orchestration, large-scale data

  3. Professional English and methodology

    80 hours · 8 credits

Technical reading, written and oral reporting

Year 2640 hours

  1. Modelling and interpretability

    200 hours · 20 credits

Supervised and unsupervised models, feature selection, explainability, robustness

  2. Visualisation and reporting

    160 hours · 16 credits

Graphical grammar, dashboards, data storytelling, communicating uncertainty

  3. Data governance, protection and sovereignty

    120 hours · 12 credits

    Lifecycle, anonymisation, compliance, hosting, reversibility

  4. Compute cost and technical trade-offs

    100 hours · 10 credits

Sizing, optimisation, choosing between local and cloud processing

  5. Commissioned applied project and dissertation

    60 hours · 6 credits

A real problem set by an organisation, a usable deliverable, publicly defended

Real prerequisite

What follows is assumed and will not be explained again. If most of it is foreign to you, this is not the right entry point — better to know now than at the final assessment.

Python, SQL queries and descriptive statistics. Building a pivot table is not enough: you need to know what a standard deviation is.

Entry requirements

  • Bac+3 level in computer science, mathematics, economics or quantitative management
  • Foundations in programming and statistics
  • Career project interview

Career outcomes
