Contracting firms, in the same dashboard as your teams

On a site, the deciding question is asked in one minute: is this person, present today, trained? Contracting firms get their own access, their results feed your dashboard, and the export distinguishes them from your own workforce.

What tracking contractors solves

The difficulty is not training an external workforce: it is proving it was trained, on the day someone asks, without rebuilding a file from emails. The scheme handles both in one move, because the training and its record are produced in the same place.

  • A common induction, identical for your teams and for contractors
  • Dedicated access for each firm, which enrols and tracks its own staff
  • Automatic feed into your dashboard, with no request or chasing on your side
  • A clear distinction, in the export, between own workforce and contracting firm
  • A history attached to the person, following them from one site to the next

Who does what in the chain

This split avoids the costliest mistake: carrying the enrolment of people you do not employ. The contracting firm administers its staff, you administer the requirement — and the dashboard reconciles the two continuously.

What the base already covers for these populations

Induction and common-risk topics are covered by the existing base and open within days. The Mining sector draws on 175 modules, leaving bespoke production for your site's own procedures alone.

Questions about contractors

Who pays for contractor training?

Both arrangements exist and are configured the same way. Some sites cover the common induction and leave trade training to each firm; others recharge the induction within the service contract. The scheme follows your choice: access and billing are set firm by firm.

Can a contracting firm see our other suppliers?

Each firm sees its own staff and nothing else. You see everything, and the export identifies each firm by its registered name. This separation is set at configuration and checked before the first accesses open.

What happens when a contractor's employee changes employer?

Their training history stays attached to them: they return to the site under a different firm with their existing achievements already recorded. The attachment updates, the earlier record stays viewable and dated. That is what avoids paying twice for an induction already completed.

Can site access be conditional on completing induction?

It is the most frequent use, and it holds because checking is immediate: a person's status is verified in one search, including at the gate. The rule is set in your service contract; the scheme supplies the data that makes it enforceable.
