The framework holds 72 professional qualifications and 4975 credits. Each qualification carries an official catalogue code, a named occupation and a level of responsibility, from level 4 to level 7.
A professional qualification differs from a continuing education certificate by its audience: it addresses those who want to enter an occupation, move into it or take on responsibility there, rather than those who already hold the post.
Each qualification breaks down into standalone competency blocks. A validated block leads to an attestation that stands on its own with an employer, and adds up with the next ones until the full qualification is earned. That is what makes the path workable for someone in a job.
Volumes are published block by block and reconcile with the catalogue rule: 10 supervised hours per credit, without exception. An employer or an equivalence office can therefore redo the calculation.
