What it takes to earn one

A certification earned by watching videos is worth nothing, and is spotted immediately. Here is precisely what is required, at what threshold and with how many attempts.

The four conditions

  1. 01

    Complete the content

Necessary, never sufficient. Progress alone triggers no certificate.

  2. 02

    Pass the marked exercises

Marked with feedback, not merely scored. A failed exercise without explanation teaches nothing.

  3. 03

    Sit the final assessment

With a pass threshold stated before you start, never adjusted afterwards.

  4. 04

    Confirm your identity

On certifying assessments only. A credential someone can sit for you protects nobody, starting with you.

If you fail

You see what was missing, by name, and you retake it. The number of attempts is stated on every course page, and it is not unlimited: an assessment retaken indefinitely ends up measuring persistence rather than skill. Between attempts, the modules to revisit are pointed out.

Validity

Most certificates do not expire: a skill gained stays gained. The exception is fields where content genuinely dates — regulation, safety, tool-specific material. There, the expiry date appears on the certificate from issue, not buried in terms and conditions.

Can I lose a certificate I already earned?

A certificate is revoked in one case only: proven cheating in the assessment. The revocation then shows on the public verification link, because a revoked certificate still reading « valid » would turn verification into theatre.

Is the certificate state-recognised?

It is a professional certification issued by the institution under its training centre approval. It attests to one precise skill, not to a full programme: long-form study leads to a qualification. Our authorisations are published on the page devoted to our status.
